Hedonism II in Jamaica – Is it for you?
I don’t like Jamaica. I love it! My wife and I returned from a vacation
to this beautiful island of truly beautiful people, (beautiful inside and out) just
week ago. I’ve been enjoying trips to Jamaica since I was eleven
and going to Hedonism II in Negril, since it was called by another name;
Negril Beach Village. At that time it was not an all inclusive resort as
it is today, but it was close though. Guests used plastic shark’s teeth to
purchase liquor. The idea was that it was easier to leave stress at home,
if you didn’t have to use money on a daily basis.
Negril Beach Village (now Hedonism II) was on a seven-mile non-
commercialized white sand beach. What made this resort unique
was that it included a clothing optional section of the beach. The
Clothing Optional Beach is now known as the “Nude Side” The rest of
the beach is now known as the “Prude Side”. On the "Nude Side" you could
shed your clothing and cares as nudists do, in a non-sexual, clothing free
environment. Because of the open environment, if a couple wanted to
privately have sex on the beach, late at night, no one; including resort
security objected. Naturally this environment was attractive to swingers.
Eventually, after Negril Beach Village became Hedonism II (Hedo II),
planned Swingers tours to this tropical “Garden of Eden” grew in popularity.
Lifestyles Tours & Travel, out of Anaheim, has become the most popular
Swingers tour to Hedo II. In January these days, much of Hedo II is booked in
advance by Lifestyles tours, for sale to their customers. Swingers love
Hedo II so much that many return year after year, often at the same time.
This gives them the opportunity to party with friends they made in prior years.
Because January’s Hedo II guests take up most of the resort, Hedo II in
January has become more of a Quasi Nudist Resort – Swing Club, than a
Resort with an open atmosphere and a Clothing Optional Beach. I say
“Quasi Nudists Resort – Swing Club”, because there are so many
differences between Swing Clubs and Nudist Resorts as opposed to Hedo II
in January that it fits into neither category.
Here are some of the most obvious differences.
1. Nudists generally adhere to certain protocols. (i.e. No sex in public,
always carry a towel to place between you and furniture, etc.) many which
are not followed at Hedo II, in January.
2. Nudists generally do not disrobe in front of people that might not be
interested in seeing people naked. At Hedo II in January, expect to see
nudity everywhere; including the Prude Beach, Prude Pools, Dining room
and Discotheque.
3. Group Swing Parties often involve some sort of mandatory
indoctrination/screening process in which rules of Swinging and Swinging
Etiquette are discussed. At Hedonism this is not the case.
4. Swing Clubs are closed entities. People that are not interested in
the lifestyle are not invited. Hedo II is open to everyone.
5. Swingers generally do not have sex in front of others that are not
interested in watching. Swinging generally takes place in privacy with
“like minded” people. At Hedo II in January, expect to see all sorts of sex
everywhere.
6. At Hedo II, in January, in the Nude Side pool and Hot Tub there is a
disproportionate amount (compared to most swinging environments) of
physical touching, probing and sucking, with nearly zero regard to the
emotional aspects of sex.
At first blush, you may say “And The Problem Is What?” The problem is
that after seven days of involuntary exposure to the above, you may wonder
what you are doing in the above described environment. Of course for
thousands of people, Hedo II in January, is “heaven on earth”. But for some
it could be just the opposite.
What if you’re a Nudist that wants to enjoy Jamaica’s white sand beaches and
sparkling blue waters in peace and quiet? This may be nearly impossible, if
you’re lying on the beach, next to a few people that decide it’s time to have a
wild threesome.
What if you’re the male half in a Swinging Couple that enjoys the occasional
discrete foursome to enhance your love and romance? This romantic concept
may quickly unravel, if you’re talking to each other privately in a pool as someone
begins applying a waterproof vibrator to your Wife.
What if you’re a couple that’s has planned a trip to Hedo II as a compromise.
One wants the “Nude Side” and the other wants the “Prude Side”. You agree to
spend a few days at each side. Problem is that in January there is no “Prude Side”.
What if you decide to take a Catamaran excursion to Ricks Café to enjoy a
drink and the Sunset with others. We talked to a couple that took this tour.
They were the only people that got off the boat for a drink at Rick’s. The others
stayed on the boat and continued to have sex.
With the exception of Hedonism III, Super Clubs, newest addition, there is
nothing like Hedo II, anywhere in the world. For this reason I offer you the
following caveat:
Be sure you know what to expect on a Hedo II Vacation and what
to expect, depends upon when you visit!
It is very important to understand that there is an enormous difference between
Nudism and Swinging. Nudism is a non-sexual activity. Not all Swingers are
Nudists and not all Nudists are Swingers. In fact most Nudists are not Swingers
and are actually very conservative sexually. Intimate contact is generally
prohibited in most Nudist environments. In the “old days” you couldn’t even
hold hands in what was then called a Nudist Colony.
There is also a huge difference between the General Swinging Population
and the Swinging Population at Hedo II in January. Expect much more gratuitous
sex, and dressing up. I love Jamaica, the Jamaican People, and Hedo II. I
respect the Lifestyles Tours and the January Hedo II regulars. I’ve known many
of them for years. I plan to return regularly to Hedonism II.
If you have not yet visited Hedonism II, In Negril, JA, I strongly suggest you do so.
Pay attention to the time of year you go and it's likely to be one of the highlights of your
life!

Tape, Pumps, Posture and Trims
For many, the biggest challenge in Swinging is insecurity about appearance.
To test this in your own relationship, run the following test. Compare how long
it takes you both to get ready for a non-swinging evening with how long it takes
to get ready for a swinging evening? If there is no difference, you are two very
secure individuals. If you are like most people, it takes you nearly twice as
long to prepare your body and face for a swinging situation.
Some people even plan for weeks or months for an event. They invest time
and money in weight loss, physical conditioning, breast increases, breast
reductions, tummy tucks, liposuction, etc. None of these preparations are
“wrong”; rather they are evidence of how important appearance is to some
people.
Actually, this insecurity doesn’t apply to only swingers. It is part of the society
we live in. It’s exaggerated in Swinging because we take are clothes off.
Very little is hidden. But who is to say what looks good and what doesn’t?
We compare ourselves to others we see in magazines, films, commercials, etc.
The problem is that there is no fair comparison. The stars and models we compare
ourselves to have more image tricks up their sleeves than you realize.
Have you ever noticed how much more comfortable people feel once they take
thier clothes off at a party? This is because now there are some “real” bodies
to compare with as opposed to all the trickery we are used to seeing. Here
are some of the tricks that pollute our image of what a “real” person looks like.
Tape and Gravity Defiance – Nude models with real breasts often use scotch
tape underneath for support, during photo shoots. How else would natural
breasts defy gravity?
Pumps and Male Porn Stars – Male porn stars are known to use Penis Pumps
to instantly enlarge their units before a scene. They also utilize “fluffers”;
women that excite them before the actual scene. Let’s face it. No guy can
get an instant hard on. Guys place way to much pressure on themselves in
this regard. A little patience in can eliminate much of the trouble.
Don’t compare yourself to a porn star. You’re viewing an artificial world of
camera angles and pre-enlarged tools.
Trim and Penis Size – Here again, look more closely. In addition to the
above tricks, Male Porn stars also trim their pubic hair to make as much of
their shaft show as possible. This is actually a trick you can try at home.
Posture and Tummy Size – Here’s another one for the ladies. Look through
a porn magazine. Take careful note of the following. You will almost never
see a lady with her stomach showing that is not leaning backwards or lying
on her back. These models and photographers are using gravity
to flatten the stomach. If she isn’t lying back, she’ll have her forearm or other
object in front of her stomach.
The bottom line is to stop comparing yourself to the results of trickery.
Shed your clothes with confidence. Humans come in all shapes and
sizes. Life is too short to let your media tainted perception of your outward
appearance interfere with the pleasure that your inner self deserves.
